Hey, everybody... I am selling my old Rover 5 robotics platform(With encoders) for 40 bucks(Shipping included for anywhere in the US). They go for $60.00 anywhere else.

The Rover is very gently used(Practically more of a decoration that anything else lol) and i re soldered the motor connections(with jumper wire) so that they fit in a breadboard, enabling faster prototyping. I have not used the encoder function yet nor have i modified it's wires. I also mounted "Carrying handles" on the platform, but i can take them off if the buyer chooses... I am using the proceeds to subsidize my Wild Thumper 6wd purchase:)

Here is a video of it(Electronics not included). Notice the carrying handles.

I can negotiate a little on price, but nothing to drastic. Paypal is the preferred payment method, but check or money order will work as well. Shipping from NH, USA.

    Ravenkallen,

How are the "Carrying Handles" attached? Could you take a picture of how the handles are attached?

Did you drill holes into the robot's frame?

If you do take a pictures, I'd also like to see what the modifications you made to the motor wires look like.

Are all the metal shafts straight? I had one of my shafts bend a little. I was able to staighten it but I'd like to know if you've had the a similar problem.

    Ravenkallen,

As long as the modifications to add the handles aren't drastic, I'll buy your Rover 5.

Before you ship it, I'd like you to unmount the treads so they aren't pulling on the gearboxes in transit. (I do want the treads through.)

I'll PM you my address. PM me your PayPal email address and I'll send you the $40.

@Daune.... Sure, let me go take a couple of pictures. The handles were mounted using the pre-drilled mounting holes and can be easily removed. And the wires make it easier to connect to a breadboard or headers(Arduino or GG Platform).

    Thanks for the pictures Ravenkallen.

I might use the handles in some other project but if you'd like to keep them, please do. If you do send the handles, you're welcome to take them off to make it easier to ship.

I don't think I have your PayPal email address yet.
