Propeller USB crashes PC

Anxious to try my new Eval board. Was initially working and now the System crashes my PC when I attempt to access the Propeller.
The·Propeller is runnig the graphic demo program

    Do you have a Palm Pilot or PDA?· Are you running software such as Hot-Sync/Active-Sync?· Sounds like a port conflict.· You can also try uninstalling and re-installing the USB driver.

    Do you have any other USB devices that may contain FTDI chips and use the Dll drivers from FTDI? Which operating system and service pack are you using.

    I am using a laptop running Windows 2000--

    I did install a port for FTDi some years ago for a PIC project some time ago.

    reinstalled driver -looks like it is working--thanks for the help!
