hello,

I have this speed controller: www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUY13&P=ML

and i hooked it to Vss, Vin, and P0 on the BOE. then i hooked the controller to a 7.2V 3000mAh battery and two other wires to the DC motor.

i'm trying to write a program that will control the speed of the motor...but i'm getting beep beep sound i think coming from the motor whenever i connect everthing together and turn on the power.

any help will be great.

I've never used one before, but after reviewing their docs, it looks like the same signals you use to control a servo's position should control motor speed through this module. There's a setup procedure on the second page of the manual. You'll have to spoof servo signals for different throttle levels as you follow their instructions for how long to press and hold a button on the controller and responding to the controller's LED flash patterns.

Their manual is available from this page: http://www.futabarc.com/manuals/index.html, look for MC230CR.
The product description is here: http://www.futabarc.com/radioaccys/futm0922.html
