I am a newbie foe this program~
I want to know how to connect the BS2 with my computer~
Acutally i have a serial cable to connect both of them ~
But the program BASIC STAMP seem no respone to detect the BS2~
Can you help me to solve this problem???

    Do you have the BASIC Stamp powered? Is the serial port "busy" because it's being used by something else?

    Yes, I have already offered the electricity , but still fail to use and add, I confirm and has not used in the port location of the computer.

    In fact I hope to know how to establish my b s 2 to the computer, because I use basic stamp programe of RUN > Identify to detect my port, but it's still show that no.

    Make sure that you do not have any software that uses a com such as a PDA or Palm Pilot.· If you have one of these devices you'll need to turn off the "Hot Sync" button down by the clock.

    Could you tell me (" Hot Sync " button down by the clock) where can be found ,and a method to know it's be already close?

    You should be able to Right-Click on your Hot Sync button and close that application. That program is holding the com port open so the BASIC Stamp editor is not able to use it.
