I made some progress on the project
1) I fixed the font(character set) for all letters and all numbers
2) I added a tiny graphics display routine
3) I added an elapsed time feature to the the display - So you dont have to
land and look at transmitter to see how much flying time is left - The
display looks like "05:42 TIME" for minutes and seconds
4) The rpm display now looks like "1730 RPM"
5) I verified the accuracy of the rpm calculation. dead-on compared to a
"Sky-Tach"
6) Started getting parts together for 60 sized blades - I'll need to
change my message to "Tsurugi XX" - cant wait to try the larger batteries-
7) Any body know of any high efficiency - high brightness LEDs ?
I hope to get some movie files from this week-end
