BS2SX and SERIN

I have tried using SERIN to capture a simple "A" sent from a laptop
PC. When I view what is sent using a terminal program the "A" is
received. SERIN however returns garbage chars. Does someone have a
working SERIN on BS2SX (or other). Also I can't seem to get ver 1.091
software to run under Win NT4.0 SP4. (Debug Freezes??). Any
assistance on the above will be appreciated. Regards Norman.
