Has anyone SUCCESSFULLY interfaced a SmartCard memory module to a Stamp2? I
would like to attach a 8MB module for some serious data logging. Any info
would be appreciated.

TIA

Vic

I am also interested in this. Where can you get a smartcard with a lot of
memory and how much does it cost? Also, Where can you get an inexpensive
card reader?
Thanks

Re: [STAMPS] Interfaceing sx2 with an ide HD, try compact flash instead

On a similar note... I was researching flash data storage concepts for a
new project, and happened to run across some information on Samsung's site
that may be useful. They offer 'SmartMedia' cards up to 64MB. The
electrical interface is very simple, and the cards are sold widely for use
in digital cameras. Look here for complete specs:

There are Toshiba's SmartMedias sold in Digikey. But I can not find any
socket for Smart Media. Does anyone know where to find the socket for Smart
media?
