Dual use serial port

I am using a microcontroller (Domino1 from Micromint) to gather data from a
Stamp2 via a serial link. The Domino has only one serial port. I would like
to output data from the Domino to a serial LCD as well. I have considered
writing to the LCD from the Stamp2, but I have a lot of string data to
output and I do not have the storage room for the strings on the Stamp. I
would like to have an arrangement that could switch the Domino's serial port
from the Stamp to the LCD on command. Has anyone had any experience with
doing something like this? Any advice would be appreciated. If you think
