P2 rev A programing

I have one of the original P2 rev A boards and the latest version of propeller tool v 2.5.3

It doesn't seem to be happy sending a simple blinky program to the P2 rev A..?

    While it is possible to use the old tools for this, I very much doubt that anyone would be supporting it in anyway with the new tools. The A is dead, long live the B and the C. Some of the encodings are different and there were many new instructions added to RevB. You can of course drop down into TAQOZ in the ROM and type 32 BLINK to blink P32 for instance and also write complete programs just using the ROM.

    Apparently Eric has left revA support in flexspin, although it complains about it when using the -2a option.

    I gave my rev A to a friend and it can be programmed fine with FlexSpin using -2a and loadp2.

    OK and thanks guys. I will retire my Rev A. I have one of the P2 edge modules and it is really something .... and the debug.. wow!
