Thanks all! I appreciate the wishes. The day started with a call from brother Chip to enlighten me on whatever was on his mind. From that point, I executed keystrokes at a furious pace in an effort to finish up enough Parallax monkey business to get my arse out the door. Then, I climbed up a mountain and skied down!

Looking forward to a birthday weekend that includes lots of P2 programming.

  • Birthday greetings here, too.

Being in day-trip distance to some nice mountains probably is pretty cool.

  • Happy Birthday, Ken.

Cool date for a birthday :

  • In Europe, at least, and other countries who write dates as DD/MM/YYYY. Here, it's MM/DD/YYYY. But I prefer YYYY/MM/DD, since the digits are in correct order from most-significant to least-significant.

  • Happy Birthday Ken! Enjoy yourself out there!

  • A bit late, but happy birthday nonetheless!

Yes, YYYYMMDD is my preferred format when using dates as the beginning of filenames or as data items, it makes sorting a lot easier...
