What is wrong with github?

The only problem I have had to deal with is when a new object
is added to Github, either you need to download the new zips
and add them one at a time, or download the entire OBEX and
over-write all the existing files to add the new objects.

Other than that, I have the entire OBEX separated by P1 & P2,
and the OBEX opens in the Prop Tool.

    I just cloned the entire repository and can just type "git pull" now and then to get updates.

    The function of the old OBEX was obvious and easily discoverable by anyone who could use a browser. Git is completely un-obvious and usable only to those who have read the directions, which are not obviously available and which nobody ever reads even when they are.

    Maybe making a hybrid system can help? Let object's zips be hosted on Github but links to them be still available on obex.parallax.com? There is an empty page now, directing to Github and there can be a set of links to separate objects.

    As a github user I simply did fork so I have the OBEX on my github account.
