They actually showed up this morning. I'm headed down there right now.

To be honest, that last live stream was very depressing until they finally figured out how to get the chip working...

On the other hand, I'd really like to see HDMI working.
Hope you have an HDMI test code all ready...

I suspect it took a lot of resources at Parallax to make it happen too. Maybe we're better off waiting for a forum update from Chip.

  • Ken just opened the box. Chips are at a workstation ready to be mounted.

That will also depend on being able to hit 250MHz with good margins, IIRC Chip expects this ES2 to be slightly faster, and a little cooler than first ES1.

  • Chip could do another live stream, once the new P2 revision gets tested. I would gladly see it.

    Kind regards, Samuel Lourenço

I could make a video showing the chip doing some nice things.

    Good idea.
How is the test coverage going ? Are there any issues yet ? - ie any things the P2 cannot do ?

The things that P2ES couldn't do perhaps?

    Yes.

Today I've been working on a low-current I/O test that can be safely run on the wafer prober.

When those waver tests faiĺ do you get full statistics at which subtest and where so you can learn about critical points?

My test reports up to four pins and their errors, in case of a failure. If the test passed, the value $C3 is output on the top 8 pins.
