Parallax WX Wi-Fi Module for Prop C

I am having problems getting this tutorial to work. I can connect and get the "HELLO" to work. All other programs in the zip file will not load on my laptop using windows 10. erased and reloaded the zip file. Uninstalled and reinstalled simple ide and none of these work. Any ideas?
