Part track, part disco/nightclub. Too bad it's in the Philippines! Shoe-shaped, 200 meters long. Millions (?) of LEDs?

    Seen this on the news yesterday, it's cool. But I wonder if this could lead to extreme behavior, like when your not able to keep up anymore.

    Hmm, Lesee. Say it is 2 meters high, total of 400 sq meters. Say the LEDs are on a 5mm grid, works out to 200 x 200 or 40,000 LEDs/ sq meter.

    16 million LEDs. That is one helluva driver.

    Does that whole track have to be driven at the same time, or can it be divided into repeating panels, triggered by some other means.

    I bet flat panel TVs are cheaper, easier & faster to configure.
