We Missed a Robot Contest!

Did anybody know about this contest? I think we have a bunch of ringers here, flying the Parallax colors. Next time, Baby!

@Ken: For Trossen's contest, contestants had to buy this $40 grab bag and use those parts in their creation.

IMO people love contests. High time for another one. Might help to copy this "grab" format to win more people over to Parallax. If you don't want to sell a grab bag kit, then specify a Parallax processor or make a list of Parallax parts. Specify that each entry must use 3 parts in its construction.

  • I'm reminded of the Jameco contest which a few of us here entered. If I remember right, just entering would get you a tee shirt. I never heard from them, did anyone else?

I agree about the Parallax contest idea.

I won a Jameco contest circa 2012-13 IIRC. Was there another?

  • I don't think it was that one, the CD requirement does not sound familiar. It was the one promoted by Grant Imahara.

Found it! Not Jameco, it was Mouser.

The first 200 entries were supposed to receive t-shirts, there were only a total of 125 entries so everyone should have got one, did anyone?
