When you build a circuit you end up with a lot of wires. This is the third serial LCD I've used and I prefer it rather than the parallel version because it only uses one i/o pin.
Until today I never really paid attention to all of the brain power that went into making this little portable monitor a one-wire device. That is amazing so I decided it wouldn't hurt to say 'Thank you'!

    Agreed, Parallax delivers the goods.

    Don't forget Ken's webinar today at 3 Pacific time, he did a fantastic job yesterday showing Blockly on the S3. Today is about Blockly & Inventions, I'm sure it will also be great.
