Crowdfunded, "world's smallest", can fly over 65 miles per hour, can reach altitudes of 6500 feet, can remain in the air for up to ten minutes.

Might be the only thing xanadu hasn't flown yet. :)

In contrast, Bell's 1960s Rocket belt had a maximum flight duration of 21 seconds, with a range of only 120 m.

  • Wasn't there something like this on the forum awhile back? The crowd funding is different.
Any perks for a donation, a mini jet pack maybe.

For purchase only, centering a rental business around this wouldn't work, you would get very few back in one piece, and loose customer's at the same time.

That's the only way you would get me strapped into that, over water with no obstacles in my way. Unless I had to try a James Bond quick exit, and probably end up painting a wall somewhere.

I remember that one from the 60s, 21 seconds means you plan your trip well.

Nice video for #1, and the best part was the landing.

In that case, I hope it can get to 6500 feet in less than five minutes!

  • Dear Santa... I like this better than the hover board version.

I'll settle for a powered paraglider if Santa is listening :)

'The Rocketeer' remains one of my favorite movies.
