Broken Scribbler Needs a Home

I thought this broken, wheel-less bot might have come from Philadelphia, where Hitch-Bot met his untimely end, but it's Eugene Oregon. Consider adopting this little fellow. I promise he won't run away.

What sort of wheels does the little fellow normally wear? Ideally it should be an easy thing to attach replacement wheels to the little guy.

Incidentally I think its a scribbler one.
By the way erco your robot was last seen on the platform at the Atlantic Avenue station waiting for the local to continue into deeper Brooklyn.
  • I have 2 with the wheels if somebody has something good to trade.

I'm looking for a fingerprint reader like this.

    Or similar.

    thanks

Can the S1 wheels be repaired with S2 parts?

I'm 90% sure the wheels are identical and interchangeable. The wheels have a support lip on the hub which locks them into the case/housing. The case might be damaged if the wheels were ripped off or stepped on. I see a bit of distress on the plastic case at the wheel opening in that photo.

If the case was opened up and wheels removed, then perhaps no mechanical damage, but something may have been fiddled with inside. I'd be wary of this one, I've seen complete Scribbler 1's for this much or less.
