Parallax and Seattle Robotics Society

The Seattle Robotics Society has decided to use the Parallax BOE-Bot with Arduino kit as a teaching platform for our basic robotics classes. We added a Ping))) sensor and the QTI Line Following kit to the robot for the class to give a good all around experience with sensors. We will be starting the classes in January. The times and schedules will be posted on the SRS website at seattlerobotics.org and on the Facebook page facebook.com/Robothon. On a personal note, I am very happy we are doing this as I have always considered Parallax to be one of the best educational companies for everything to do with robotics and microcontrollers. I have had many happy years as a Parallax customer.

  • Can't go wrong with the BOE-Bot for teaching people robotics. The Arduino Shield is a brilliant product. Makes things too easy sometimes!
