Bluetooth headset to speakers

Got a request for a sort of Bluetooth PA system. A piano teacher has a few students and instead of buying and lugging and messing with a PA system she was wondering if she could use her Bluetooth headset and connect directly with the speaker. Didn't work, and the delay to have the phone as a 'middle man' is annoying. So is there anything that can be built that will act as a middle man and not have a horrible lag?

Your problem is trying to use digital in an analog world. The process of encoding to digital and decoding back to analog is delaying the signal enough to provide the "echo". The cell phone in the middle is not really the problem. IF she needs the amplification an analog wireless mic is the only workable solution.
