TSL1401.Hex Source code

I am interested in the process of creating the TSL1401.Hex file for the TSL1401 Linescan Sensor Daughterboard. Does anyone know where I can find the source code for the file TSL1401.Hex? Was Atmel Studio used to compile it?

There are so many hits for ATTiny13 programing! Does anyone care to narrow the field of places to start learning about programing the ATTiny13?

Also has anyone tried using other TAOS linescan chips like the TAOS1408?
