New forum "issue?" I can edit anyone's posts.

Is this just a moderator thing, as before, or can everyone do this? 'Just wanted to make sure, since moderator status in this forum is not made manifest.

    It must be a moderator thing.  If I sign in with a different browser, the edit option is not there.   Phil, I added 3 more dots at the end of your previous post, on two separate occasions.  If you go away for a leap second and come back, the edit option reappears. 
    Next day. I can edit my own post too, outside the 1 hour.
