This is a test

There doesn't seem to be any place to make test posts.
Testing strikeouts, colors and text highlight colors.
Inserting and image.
The "insert hyperlink" button doesn't work.  I can only paste in a link https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4107/4981166404_2d6ee261b7_z.jpg

It looks like the "show source" button will allow me to edit html.  I'll tried moving this to the next line and make it bold by inserting html tags.
OK, "insert hyperlink" works only after I paste in a link, but it doesn't seem to change anything.
And the "paste as text" button doesn't seem to work.
Another link test.  Ok, I can highlight text and then paste a link into it.
I lost some text when I clicked on the "show source" button.  I'll try again.
This text was inserted by clicking on "show source" and editing it.

This is a new line. Now clicking on "Show Rich Text".
So it looks like html tags can be inserted by clicking on "Show Source" and then editing.  However, some text seems to get lost when switching modes.
Clicking on "Preview" doesn't show my inserted image.  I wonder if it will show up when I post this.

Comments

  • My inserted image disappeared from my first post.  I'll try it here.

When I quote your reply, I see a nicely formatted HTML table with borders and no extraneous whitespace in the edit box. How nice :)

I'm guessing it won't look this nice once I hit the "Post Comment" button...

--edit--Annnnddd.... nope. Looks just as bad as your post

    Seems not so much.

    Martin,

Schrödinger's Cat walked into a bar.

    Or didn't.
