#27113 Digital IO Board

I'm looking for some example wiring diagrams showing parallel and serial interfacing to the Digital IO board with BOE [bs2 or prop]. I had a thread located in  the old forums explaining [ Chris Savage ] some of this.

Parallax sell's a 8 channel relay board check out the schematic and code such as Shiftout 74C595 or Shiftin165

Look at Product code  27113 on parallax.com all the detailed info is right there schematics spin files etc.

Here is a brief description of the connections. Keep in mind the microcontroller and relay boards need to share a common ground connection to work properly. This could be from a common power supply or the ground connections in J19/J20.
