Is there no one who can code their robot to drive along these clearly intersecting spiral paths?

  • Make one black square white, (double white squares). Move Bot with QTI sensors CW until it hits double white; turn slightly to the right to pick up the next sequence. Repeat until center.

Amazing the way the brain works
The thumbnail underneath not a problem..
    why?

  • erco,

That is wicked. You just crashed my brain.
  • Bot can probably be made to move to the next nearest square easily enough.

Bot has a compass and/or giro such that it knows it's heading when started.

Bot follows the circle it's on, next nearest square by next nearest square, until it's heading is the same as when it started. One revolution is then complete.

Then bot veres off to left or right, depending which way we are circling, until it find the next inner circle.

    Repeat.

  • Actually, thinking about it, it's no more weird than all those spirals we see in the seeds of a Sunflower.

You see, in reality there are no circles in that picture. Or spirals. They are just constructs of our minds. Why do we expect to see either?
