Andy,
It looks like the P2 will be spitting out serial data at warp speed.
I realize that with the current state of flux, work on the P2 terminal is ... difficult.
I am confident that things will settle down in the next couple of weeks.
Hypothetically... and with no promises...would it be possible and would you please consider adding...
a "receive as bmp" with a little viewer area? Grayscale would be more than enough:)

The serial library I use for Prop2Terminal supports only baudrates up to 115.2 kBaud.
It would be very slow to transfer whole BMPs with that speed.
The Terminal has already some pixel/bitmap functions, but they support only the 8 built in colors and the required overhead will make it even slower.
