Hi,
I put together some photos and schematics to help others get going with video input to their Propeller. I used an ADC08100 ($10 from digikey: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=ADC08100CIMTC-ND) to digitize NTSC grayscale from a C-Cam2AX ($20 from 123electronics: http://www.electronics123.com/s.nl/it.A/id.32/.f)
See attached pdf...

Interesting Hanno. It's hard to find a good solution for less than that . Too bad the ADC08100 didn't come in a DIP package but I guess we have to learn SMT at some point. You used some very tiny wires there. I would have to use my microscope for that.

The picture came out fairly good. It reminds me of the old days when we used to get excited about slow scan TV in Ham radio.

    Ref:
The ADC08100 is offered in a 24-lead plastic package

Yes, I spent quite some time several years ago looking for a DIP ADC that was fast enough for video. I don't know if new ones are available now. It's not trivial to solder, but there aren't that many pins- and most of them are either gnd or vdd.
