Is it possible to use the v1.1 mouse driver with the Hydra? I'm used to using mouse_iso_001, which takes a pingroup parameter. The 1.1 start method wants two parameters, dpin and cpin, and no values I've tried have worked. Help?

The Hydra has a totally different interface to the PS/2 connectors as Parallax's later boards. Have a look at the schematics!

Mike intended to make a "compatible" driver for Mouse and Keyboard....

You will find that the keyboard software has similar restraints as it is also a PS/2 interface.

The pin number are different and there are twice as many pins involved with driving the PS/2 interfaces.

Essentially, Anton was more conservative in designing the circuitry due to that fact that he drives the Hydra at a higher speed, 10Mhz Xtal.

Nothing wrong with being conservative.
