Ode to Parallax on your 20th - Congratulations ...

Forgive the poetic assassination ! - but in keeping with the 20yr Celebrations ...

Parallax

A short while back with a move quite bold
The Stamp appeared and broke the mould
Simplicity is the key - we were all told.
On the initial idea we were sold.

We have the stamp for quite a spell
in terms of functionality it does quite well
and It was the entry level for a spell
What would come next ? - who could tell.

Then Chip sat down -because he had a plan.
Not the thoughts of the average man.
With 8 cogs and spin and some ram
I immediately became a propeller fan.

Currently with the Propeller and multitasking
in silicon heaven we are now basking
with technology that is long lasting
what is next? - we are now asking..

Microcontrol has now been demystified
as Chip Gracey had·proudly specified
other manufacturers must be petrified
As interest in the Propeller has multiplied

Parallax is celebrating 20 Years
now with forum support from staff and peers
We are filled with excitement as Prop2 nears
To Parallax we say - Cheers !


Congratulations Parallax one and All - keep up the good work..

Without a doubt, they (techs,sales,engineers et.al) truely make Parallax a great company and·a brilliant corporate culture example.
Anyone who·deals with·a lot of vendors in·this industry·can back me up when I say that Parallax ranks·at the top in knowledge, quality and·service (and a great bunch of dedicated folks -and some a little goofy like some of us).

Such poetry - yes, it is poetry - comes from deep love and fascination. I feel the same, but my limited command of English makes it difficult to express my feelings like Quattro did. I certainly agree, though.
