Two winners!

Congratulations Kaio AND Jeff McClure!

-----------------------------------------------------

Hello Propeller Forum Members,

Linked below are three layout views that exist within the Propeller Chip. The first person that can correctly match all three (A, B, and C) of the layout views with the correct section of the Propeller will win a Propeller Starter Kit (#32300)!

To see what pieces make up the inside of a Propeller...

ok, my stab in the dark

A - the edge of the Hub ROM. (specifically decoders on the right, and the ROM grid on the left?)

B - Lock bits in the HUB? (it's evil to show such small chunks of a chip this big...)

C - I/O pin drivers? (the circuit's building up power for *something* off to the right)

Jeff,

Congratulations!!

What happened, is that I was going by the BLOCK diagram, which denotes HUB RAM and HUB ROM, but you are completely correct!

'Main ROM' and 'Main RAM' are also completely valid.

LVS - Layout verses Schematic ....· Since you changed the Layout on me, it's not going to match the schematic anymore. http://forums.parallax.com/images/smilies/smilewinkgrin.gif

Sounds like a dance that I haven't had to learn. Two step or tango?
