Recover old program

I'm sure it's been asked but my search did not pick it up.
I have an old program on a BS2 and I cannot find the file on my computer.
Is there any way to extract it?

There is no easy way to do that. Apparntly some folks have been able to do it by removing the memory chip and various work arounds but it tends to be more work than just writing the program over.
