Parallax (and others) sell strips of these. I often buy 28 pin IC sockets where the two sides are just held together by thin strips of plastic and cut those strips out which leaves nice 14 pin socket strips.

Sounds good. Is it possible to get a link to a site that sells them? I cant find them on the Parllax site....

Rob311,

Are you looking for a header or a SIP socket? Typically these are available in longer units and we cut them down to size. Once you confirm what you need I may be able to help you out. Take care.

Both (std and Swiss machine pin) - http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/categories.php?cPath=53_91

Good luck, Steve

BTW - Mike's suggestion of using "open" DIP sockets works great also in a pinch.
