Programmer the gps module with motorola hsc12

·I wrote code in ICC software, using C to read from the GPS module. eventhough I'm sending the ASCI equivalent for !GPS before any command I'm still unable to read from the GPS. Do you guys have any hint as far using C to read from the module. a sample code would be perfect. I read something about using pull up resistor. Can somebody shed some·light.

I'd try putting the GPS unit in the 'raw' mode (ground the 'raw' pin) then look for any data. In this mode it will output a stream of text once a second. Sounds like your recieve code not working.

I "THINK" the GPS module doesn't output the requested data until it receives the next string of character (this only happens once a seconds). So you may have to wait about a second before you see any character coming back.
