I have several Props on one serial port, no loop back, just Rx on each. Is there a way to address one specific Prop with a serial command and reboot that entire chip?

say you have 3 props and you want to reset no.1 send your string e.g '1RES' from the p.c - have each prop is programmed to react to its lead char - here '1' so that if prop1 receives '1RES' then REBOOT ?

There will be no reaction from 2 or 3 as it will not be programmed to react to '1RES'

prop2 is programmed to REBOOT if it receives '2RES' and so on .....

Quatro Thanks for the info, I was expecting a more complicated answer. I think it's time to re-read the manual now since I have overlooked REBOOT. Amazing how you to tend to mostly absorb what is relative at the moment.

Originator,
It happens to us all - I usually find when I have a 'massive' problem it is either a) completely destroyed
b) the most simple of things - and experience has shown it is usually the latter !
