Removing old FTDI virtual COM ports..?

Some of my applications are limited to COM·1-15, and it seems with all the Propeller/PropPlugs/USB2SER's etc I've used, I'm up to COM 17.· Does anyone know a safe method for removing abandoned port drivers.· I removed a few keys from the registry I found, but they still show as being used.

I have a brandy-new Proto Board I can program, but can't access serially with my various applications.

No problem, I asked them the same question myself when they came to show off the Vinculum. The guy that troubleshoots Propeller based products has nearly 200 com ports identified on his system, he's interested in seeing if he'll ever run out of ports.
