View Full Version : Problems with the BS2 and BOE

I blue the hi outputs on pins 0-7. How can I tell if I distroyed the board or the chip. I have highs outs on pins 8-15 but only hi outs on pin3 below pin 8
Im using a BS2 and BOE. Stuped me Ground got in a fight with -15Volts!

+1 Agfa. The board basically routes wires running from the I/O pins. If you 'destroyed the board' you'd have burned traces. This is MUCH harder to do than to blow the I/O drivers (inside the PIC, on the BS2 module) themselves.

And yes, putting -15 on Vss is a really bad thing to have happen.
