MCP23017 / I2C - help please

I have to convert our current BS2pe project to use I2C with the MCP23017.
Does anyone know where I can find sample pbasic code for the MCP23017 using
the built-in I2C commands (I2CIN and I2COUT). I searched but couldn't come up
with anything.

I am not familiar with that IC, but if it’s anything like the MCP23016 there are plenty of examples for that. That may at least get you started. Take care.
