It's a rev. E.

Plugged it in for a quick check and the standard demo with the counting numbers, lines and other goodies showed up on the screen, but was cutoff on the top and bottom. Looked a lot like one of those wide screen DVD movies with the black bars.

Is this normal?

Everything else checks out it seems. Prop tool detected the demo board. I haven't uploaded anything to it just yet however. Didn't have time.

Yes it's normal, I believe (though not positive) the output is that way because it is loaded with a program that does a TV and VGA demo program simultaneously and has to compromise the size of the TV demo to make room for the VGA demo. If you load Graphics_Demo.spin in the Propeller you will see the TV demo in all it's glory.

Ok then. No worries, the little bugger is working.

I'm not going to bother with that. Time to start writing programs.
