Pink Wha Huh???

I just got my pink module, and while assigning an IP address I got hopelessly stuck.
Do I make up an IP address? What about all of that other stuff??? Where do I get this information??

I type in my IP address, and then my netmask and gate, and hit set, and then the connection to my PINK disapperaed?

How do I reset the pink's IP address after I typed in my own?????? Nothing comes up in the IP.exe program, nothing happens on other computer
