Hi all,

I found "Microsoft Robotics Studio", and that "Microsoft showed working Microsoft Robotics Studio demos from ... Parallax Inc. and Phidgets Inc." I have had a look through the http://msdn.microsoft.com/robotics/ website, but it's mostly marketing hype. I have downloaded the program but not tried it yet. Last time I installed .Net it broke my web development environment, and I'm reluctant to rush in again.

Anyway, I would be REALLY REALLY interested to hear from Parallax about the studio. Will we be able to program BS2, SX or Propellor systems using it ? Is Parallax likely to provide libraries corresponding to their products ? Or does Parallax see it useful mainly as a classroom robot simulation tool ?

I guess that, being Microsoft, we'll have to wait for version 3 product to deliver their current promises, and by then it will be overkill for hobbyists.

I realise that there are probably non-disclosure clauses and future product development issues, but any comments you can make would be appreciated.
