Question regarding PIR sensors

Those of you who have had past experinces with the PIR sensor, what is its angle of view and longitudinal range?

My fisrt impression is that it's very sensitive and I need to make adjustments to prevent false alarms.

Any feedback/help would be appreciated. Thanks!

·· There was discussion in our EFX Forum about using 4" PVC to reduce the FOV of the PIR and make it see more straight ahead if that is what you are looking to do.
