If the PIN argument of I2CIN and I2COUT must be 0 or 8, can you use either MAINIO or AUXIO pins 0/1 or 8/9 for an I2C bus on the BS2p40?

Yes, you can use 0,1·or 8,9 on the MANIO or the AUXIO regarding the I2C command.
