Hi.
Is it possible to use the 28024 USB2SER module for programming directly the BS2?
Is it possible to use the 28024 USB2SER module for programming the BS2 through the old BoE with RS232?

No, the Parallax 28024 USB2SER module is for customer's who want to implement the FTDI chipset in their designs to have a proof of concept platform.

If you want to connect to the BOE with RS232, you should purchase the 800-00030 FTDI USB232B USB to Serial Adapter ($34). For the additional cost, you get a DB-9 connector which connects directly to the BOE board. Plus, it will plug directly into your PC, where the module above would require an adapter cable.
