effects of batteries in series on current

·· Whats the effects placing batteries in series on the combinded current sourcing ability, current drain, mAh ability? For example, if my current source is 100 mA and my mAh is 100 for a battery and its·3 V; if I place 4 in series I know the voltage will be -6 GND and +6 V; but will the current sourcing ability be 600 or 25 mA and will the mAh decrease?

When paralleling batteries (of the same kind), you increase current capacity while voltage stays the same.· In series, voltage increases but current capacity remains constant.

so if you had 4 batteries in series rated at 100mah a peice, the total current capacity is still 100mah.
