Just put these two QuickStart addon modules up last night - first is Quick Proto;

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7226/6851919172_0311b2885e.jpg (http://www.gadgetgangster.com/295)

Quick Proto expands QuickStart with;

Barrel Jack connector for powering QuickStart with a wall adapter
Screw Terminal connector for powering QuickStart with a battery pack or portable supply
Audio and Video connectors, using the same pinout as the demo board
A 14x13 prototyping area with access to 27 Propeller I/O and multiple Vdd and Vss connections

I put a quick video walkthrough on the project page (http://www.gadgetgangster.com/295), too.

Also new is the Quick Player;

It expands the QuickStart with;

Wii controller connector for Classic controller or nunchuck
Audio and video output
Headers for a microSD card slot
Offset design so touch buttons on QuickStart are accessible

There's a video walkthrough on the Project Page (http://www.gadgetgangster.com/207)

Both designs are open source under the MIT license - the diptrace files are on the project pages along with schematics, sample code and assembly instructions. As usual, let us know what you think of 'em!

These both look great! I really like the "Quick Player".

BTW: I don't know if you've thought of a add-on module with an SD card, but it might be nice...

Thanks Ray.

Actually, the Quick Player is designed to be microSD upgradable using this kit: (connection provided)

It looks like this when the three are combined.

Very nice! I love the prices point for an add-on kit.

Great work guys! Guess I need to order some stuff!

Thanks guys! Yeah - SD is pretty handy, the Quick Player supports it, and so will one of the modules we'll be releasing shortly.

Figured it would be a good idea to start at step one with this project...

Here's a copy of Graphics Demo re-written to support Wii Controllers instead of a mouse.
