Looking for a DC motor with techometer/encoder

Hi All,
I am seeking an inexpensive DC motor (12V?) with a build in DC tachometer or encoder output. We use to have some DC motor/tachs for our labs, but they seem to have all failed over many years of use/abuse. Anyone have any suggestions? We basically use them in feedback/control labs.

Gearmotor? Size, torque/rpm/power requirements?

I don't really need it geared, not going for any sophisticated systems here, just something we can spin up, put a light load on, and measure current/RPM, and use PWM to control speed. Maybe 1000 RPM or so. Thanks.

I think those are pulled from IBM PC/XT floppy drives. Picture looks right...

Yes!! Exactly what I wanted, though didn't remember that the output was AC, but we can deal with that, treat it as a frequency and count. Great, thanks!
