I must admit, I'm jealous I didn't think of this. Love the complex tap-dancing rhythms from such a simple program. Must build one.

How about some telco "step-by-step" relays...

Is that Jack Benny narrating the telephone film?

Not sure who the narrator of the Bell film is, but it's not Jack Benny. Not enough "break" in his voice.

The relay video is cool, but they got no rhythm. Erco, make your own and program the things to tap out a beat you can dance to!

FWIW, *here's* Jack:

I showed a coworker the Lord of the Relays and he said cool, but why on earth does it go on for five minutes.

The telephone video was a real blast for the past.

Lol, I'm glad it wasn't just me. The first thing I thought after "That's pretty cool" was "Uhmmm... maybe 50 seconds of this would be enough?"

The telephone video was pretty good also. The first phone calls I ever made were probably connected by machines like those.

Here are more AT&T Archives videos...

Then this one is funny. It is teaching people how to use the "new" dial phones. The "excited" audience reaction about half way through is funny...
