My mother had an alternate use for those tracks. It was very effective.

I've set up many large, outrageous Hot Wheels tracks. Every other guy who sees them gets flashbacks to his childhood when his parents would beat him with a long piece of orange track. Per Rich, very effective!

Here are a few non-official tracks I've made:

My son like the flaming car the best. I think I would like the margarita madness track.

I wounder if marketing would have to have the phrase "Batteries and flammable liquids not included" on the package. Just imagine what the xmas commercials would be like:)

My wife and I would put the occasional relevant Zits cartoon on the fridge to highlight some of our (then) teenage sons behaviour. He never got the jokes.

But they CAN be plums. From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sugar_plum

Sugar plums can be made from any combination of dried plums (aka prunes), dried figs, dried apricots, dried dates, and dried cherries.
