You need to explain, preferably by giving an example, just what you want to do.

Look at the description of the DEBUG statement in the Stamp Editor's help files or in the Basic Stamp Syntax and Reference Manual. This statement writes information into the Stamp Editor's debug window. The "What's a Microcontroller?" tutorial discusses in detail the use of pushbuttons.

The Reference Manual is available for download using the Stamp Documentation button and the tutorial is available using the Stamps in Class Tutorials button, both here (http://www.parallax.com/tabid/477/Default.aspx).

Welcome to the forums.

What is it, exactly, you're trying to accomplish? More details will allow us to help you more efficiently.

Do you want an external button to somehow enter text into the Debugin screen? If you are going to push a button, why not connect the button directly to the Stamp?
