Anyone Hack Mobigo into a Prop terminal?

A while back there were discussions about hacking various devices to serve as a terminal to the prop.

I got the zipit2 to run linux, and can WiFI to the network, and then reach the Spinneret with telnet.

Now the munchkins have abandoned the Mobigo. This has a color screen, keyboard, wifi and runs on AA batteries for months. I'm thinking a game cartridge could be hacked to turn it into a telnet WiFi terminal. Or rip the guts out and just put a prop in directly.

Anybody start work on this?

Never heard of a Mobigo before. Still trying to keep up with my Zipit.

Mobigo is a $49 preschool and elementary school handheld for education like the Leapster (which is currently the favorite this week, and might be a candidate for hacking next week).

It seems too simple for any significant security and too good to leave alone. But I'm just a software guy.

The Zipit is cool enough, but the Mobigo can withstand multiple drops and bouncing off walls. Just looking at options here.
